It’s that time of year again! While it’s tough to miss the giant Christmas tree out in front of Black’s Gift Shop, this isn’t the only sign of the holidays in Wolfeboro.
Here are some of the area’s most popular activites to get you and your family in the spirit of the season:
Santa’s Hut
Although he is very busy this time of year, Santa will be available in his hut in Wolfeboro’s lovely Cate Park for a few hours in the afternoon on several occasions leading up to the big day. Parents are invited to bring their children to sit on Santa’s lap and explore his festive hut on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee.

17th Annual Festival of Trees
Dec. 5-6, 9, 12-13
The popular annual charity fundraiser, the Wolfeboro Festival of Trees, will once again be held at the Wright Museum of World War II.
This event will feature over 65 trees decorated by local businesses and nonprofit organizations. The trees will be exhibited on two levels of the museum which will be decorated in spirit of the season.
In addition to the beautiful collection of decorated pines, the Wolfeboro Festival of Trees will feature performances from more than a dozen local musicians and performers. The full list performances scheduled for the 2015 Wolfeboro Festival of Trees can be found here.

Art Walk
The final Art Walk of 2015 will be held on Friday, December 18, from 5-8PM in locations around downtown Wolfeboro. Organized by the Governor Wentworth Arts Council (GWAC), the Art Walk is a self-guided tour of local galleries and studios, and this month’s walk will have a “decidedly holiday feeling” with festive snacks, specials, and adult beverages available in select locations. Participant’s include: The Studio Gallery, The Kalled Gallery, The Art Place, Artisans Corner, The Sandy Martin Gallery, Winnipesaukee Chocolates, the Connelly Gallery and the Northeastern Ballet Theatre Studio. GWAC members will have their artwork on display at the Wolfeboro Inn.
